Confirmation gives the person the spirit of wisdom and understanding. Through Confirmation share more completely in the mission of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Through the sacrament Jesus promised to send his Spirit to comfort and guide them (John 14:16) At Pentecost, the birth of the Church, the first disciples were empowered by the Holy Spirit to go out and preach the Good News (Act 21-13)
This sacrament is completed in the 8th grade and is taught through the religion class at the school. It has a year of preparation with community service and classes. For those not attending St. Paul’s School there is religious education classes taught on Sundays.
